Black Sea Opportunity

Container traffic alone in 2022 the Romanian harbour system of Constanta has enlivened a record traffic of 75.6 million tons of goods, with a increase of +12% on the year precedence, of which 60,1 million tons of maritime traffic (+16%) and 15,4 million tons of river traffic (-2%). Also last year the traffic of cereals was the largest volume of loads handled having been equal to 31.7% of the total, followed by crude oil traffic (12.6%), miscellaneous goods (10.4%), refined petroleum products (9.6), minerals and scrap ferrous (9.3%).

Mediteranean Opportunity

In the Mediterranean Sea, on the c oast of Italy, we target the following ports: Genoa and Trieste

Venice and Genoa are still among Italy’s premier ports today. Ranked by freight traffic, Trieste is now the country’s biggest port with an annual cargo throughput in excess of 60 million metric tonnes but Genoa is not far behind with about 55 million tonnes a year. Livorno, Cagliari, Gioia Tauro, Ravenna, Venice, Messina, Augusta, Taranto, Naples and La Spezia complete the top-dozen list.

Black Sea Opportunity

In fact, until the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Lukoil (Bulgaria) and Gazprom Neft (who bought UNICOM Bunkering) were major players on the bunker market in the port of Constanta, Bourgas and Varna;

The bunkering activity of Lukoil Bulgaria (m/t Bellona – delivery barge has already been sold) is in the process of being taken over by another company from Serbia that realized the opportunity and wants to enter to the bunker market in the port of Constanta;

Mediteranean Opportunity

Civitavecchia, served by Bunker Energy and Ludoil; Naples, supported by Kuwait’s Q8 (which closed its nearby refinery in the mid-1990s);

Augusta, on the island of Sicily, where Bunker Energy is the sole physical supplier and currently uses two barges, the Punta Rossa for in-port deliveries and the 1,496 GT Mersey Spirit which also services nearby ports as well as Civitavecchia and Brindisi;

Our

global strategy

We would like to approach various companies with growth potential from both the Mediterranean and the Black Sea and to establish collaborative relationships (win-win) based on trust and a competitive price;

Companies that already have collaborations or are part of alliances will not be in our sights;

We believe that a systematic approach by area and with well-structured intelligent marketing can achieve our goals.
